For a long time, we wished for a block explorer that would tell you, in plain English, what had happened in a particular transaction.
Developer-oriented block explorers (which focus on displaying all the technical data) are absolutely necessary, but they're not designed with the regular, non-technical user in mind.
Our vision is that to onboard the next generation of retail users, we need to make blockchain data more accessible and understandable.
Our data is more accessible and understandable. But regular users won't be using an API just to look at their transaction history.
Therefore, we decided to make our data available through a block explorer. Something that was designed for regular, non-technical people. A block explorer for humans ;).
Our "For Humans" line of block explorers officially launched in August 2023 with the release of Linea For Humans.
